Jomsom Muktinath Trek

  • Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (Altitude 1300m)

    Once you reach Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, a delegate from Bluebird Travel & Tours will welcome you and moreover give brief information on further program.

    Day 02: City touring in Kathmandu

    We will be sightseeing UNESCO recorded cultural heritages such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath(monkey temple), and Pashupatinath in Kathmandu Valley the entire day. Stay overnight in Hotel.

    Day 03 : Kathmadu - Fly to Pokhara 900 m - trek to Tikhedhunga

    After breakfast, we will drive you to Pokhara which is 200km from Kathmandu.  En-route, we can appreciate the excellent grand perspectives of terraced fields, eye catching scenes, Trisuli and Marsyangdi Rivers and tremendous perspectives of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Lamjung Himal and the vast majority of Annapurna Himalayan Range. After that, we will drive you to Naya Pul and start the trek. We will walk around the northern side of Bhurungdi Khola. The trail goes through the sub tropical valley timberlands. We will cross the Modi Khola River via a suspension bridge to the town of Tikhendhunga.

    Day 04 : Tikhedhunga - trek to Ghorepani 2810 m

    After a mouth watering mountain breakfast at the tea house we begin the trek of the day. The initial segment of the trek is a lofty upward stroll for around 2 Hrs and after that a progressive upward walk. The stroll on the stone cleared strides is a challenging experience at a young hour in the morning. The entire trail drives you through towns and woods to Ghorepani where your endeavors will be compensated with wonderful close up perspectives of the Himalaya (given the climate is clear).

    Day 05 : Ghorepani - Trek to Poon Hill 3210 m - Tadapani 2700 m

    Early in the morning, we will climb to Poon Hill, the highlight of the outing, around 1.5 Hrs, to see the fabulous dawn and the perspectives of 10 distinct pinnacles. We will trek back to Ghorepani for the breakfast. Subsequent to having breakfast, we will trek to Tadapani, another extraordinary place to take in close up perspectives of the Himalaya. It is a wonderful stroll through a lavish green timberland.

    Day 06: Tadapani to Ghasa (2,110m/6,922ft): 5-6 hours

    We start our trek after breakfast and rise bit by bit on a trail with Kali Gandaki River to our right side. We traverse the river and proceed with our walk. The trail goes through the lovely waterfall, Rupse Chhahara. We rise further to Ghasa which is delightfully situated in the lower some portion of the Kali Gandaki Valley and is warm and green.     Day 07: Ghasa to Marpha (2,680m/8,792ft): 4-5hours

    We climb on a lofty trail through a backwoods to the Lete Khola (stream). After strolling further, we will reach Lete town. We will then proceed with our trek on a trail to east of the stream and reach Larjung Village. On our trek today we additionally observe delightful apple plantations and vegetable homesteads. Marpha is known in Nepal for its top notch apples. Overnight in Marpha.

    Day 08: Marpha to Kagbeni (2,810/9,218ft): 4-5 hours

    From Marpha we trek on a trail that sticks to a valley. We rise step by step on an edge and reach Jomsom Village. From here we trek toward the north towards Kagbeni, up the Kali Gandaki River which is the most profound canyon in the world. It gets blustery in the wake of strolling a while so it's essential to walk painstakingly at an enduring pace. We go through Eklebhatti town and proceed towards Kagbeni. From Kagbeni, we get awesome perspectives of Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri and Tukuche tops. Overnight in Kagbeni.

    Day 09: Kagbeni to Muktinath (3,710m/12,170ft): 5-6 hours

    Our voyage begins with the stroll through riverbank of Kali Gandaki up stream. Amid the walk we will have grand pleasant spots to make a trip and explore. From Kagbeni the way climbs steeply to re-join the immediate trail prompting to Khingar at 3200m. A further climb takes us to Muktinath.

    Day 10: Muktinath to Jomsom (2,715m/8,910ft): 5-6 hours

    Muktinath is a holy place of journey for Nepalese of both Buddhist and Hindu religion as these two religions are complicatedly woven together in Nepal. We visit the sanctuary in the morning and visit its neighborhood. We can appreciate the water gushes before visiting a Buddhist religious community adjacent. From Muktinath, we will head towards Jomsom. Stay overnight at Jomsom.

    Day 11: Fly back to Pokhara: 15 minutes flight

     

    We take an early morning flight to Pokhara from Jomsom. The plane goes through a canyon amongst Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains making the flight itself an astounding knowledge. In the wake of touching base in Pokhara, the wonderful 'Lake City', we can spend whatever is left of the day in relaxation.

    Day 12: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

    After breakfast, we will drive back to Kathmandu which is around 6 hours drive or we additionally have an alternative to fly for 25 minutes at an additional cost.

    Day 13: Departure

    After your breakfast, we will drive you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight back home.
